Electropure EDI technology = Simple EDI. Easy to install and easy to operate. Electropure has some similarities to other competitive electrodeionisation products but there are fundamental advantages and differences over others. The 4 major technical differences include thin-cell technology, thin-concentrate technology, non-filled concentrate technology and non-fouling electrode technology. This makes Snowpure EDI the simplest and smallest systems to achieve recoveries above 99%.
Developed as electrodeionization for small countertop or wall-mount laboratory water systems the Zapwater EDI modules provide exceptional quality and efficiency. Zapwater RO-EDI systems can be designed to produce ASTM Type I & II, or JIS A2 to A4 lab water. The Zapwater EDI can produce excellent quality of 17 Megohm if the RO and pretreatment are optimized.
SnowPure provides a unique UV water treatment system that is the new standard for Microbial Disinfection, TOC Reduction (Total Organic Carbon), and Chlorine Removal. This patented product line utilizes “Reflex®” a highly-reflective UV treatment chamber that maximizes the use of the ultraviolet light emitted, and saves 80-90% of the power required. Most UV lose 80-90% of their UV photons.
Benefits which include up to 90% lower power consumption, higher efficiency and reduced maintenance results in low total cost of operation with payback periods on Snowpure UV of less than 12 months.
Gas Transfer Membranes (GTM)
Liqui-Cel® Gas Transfer Membranes (GTM) Contactors provides a solution which is used worldwide in many industries. Degassing is important in many EDI designs with Liqui-Cel gas transfer membranes providing the solution. The Liqui-Cel units offer an easy-to-operate, modular solution for degassing and removing CO2 from water without chemicals and without large vacuum towers or deaerators making them more cost effective and easier to maintain.
Liqui-Cel® Membrane Contactors are also used extensively for treating RO permeate in the microelectronics, pharmaceutical, power, and industrial pure water markets just to name a few.
ExcellNano - Nanofiltration membranes
ExcellNano NF membranes are uniquely designed for special process separations. Special process applications include separate divalent ions from monovalent ions, concentrate metal ions, separate organics from aqueous salt streams, purify acids for reuse, lithium brine purification and hundreds of others.
ED-Electrodialysis is used around the globe in many industrial, laboratory and recycling environments. ED is an industrial membrane separation process in which ions are transported through ion- permeable membranes, from one stream to another, under the influence of a voltage potential gradient. Process applications include seawater desalination, electroless plating baths, salt removal from foods and beverages and others.
